DIRECT IN-FURROW FERTILIZER FOR MAXIMUM IMPACT WITH Y-NOT SPLIT-ITTM
As the RebounderTM takes the seeds to the bottom of the trench, it pulls a little soil off the sidewall to cover the seed. The Y-Not Split-ItTM will then place the fertilizer about half way up the sidewall of the seed V. This allows the fertilizer to soak into the sidewall rather than being put directly on the seed, which will especially help the farmer when planting in drier or sandy soils.
The insurance of not burning the seeds
The Y-Not Split-ItTM is a transparent, Y-shaped plastic tube that attaches to the fertilizer hose and diverts the flow of fertilizer off of the seeds and onto the sides of the trench. When used with the RebounderTM seed cover, The Y-Not Split-ItTM will efficiently fertilize the side walls of the seed V without drenching the seed, giving you the insurance of not burning the seeds.
