May Wes Manufacturing’s Sales Manager, Daryl Peterson, eagerly accepted the No-Till Product of the Year award for 2013 in the Residue Management Category at the 22nd Annual National No-Tillage Conference in Springfield Illinois on Friday, January 17, 2013 for the May Wes STALK STOMPER product lines.  This marks the 2nd consecutive year to receive this award.  The selection was made by subscribers and readers of No-Till Farmer’s Conservation Tillage Guide through a voting process held last fall.

Made from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE) material, Slide-N-Drive™ Poly Covers eliminate the need for greasing the fifth wheel plate surface.  The poly material’s non-stick surface keeps debris from adhering and enables better trailer handling and maneuvering.  The ¼” thick UHMW’s superior strength will extend the life of the 5th wheel plate and over-the-road drivers report getting 400,000 plus miles per poly cover.

The Slide-N-Drive™ kits come with everything needed for a basic installation. The poly plate is pre-drilled with strategically placed holes that clear obstructions under the 5th wheel plate.  Two powdered-coated ram bars and all necessary hardware are included with the kit.  Learn more.

May Wes Manufacturing is now providing injection molded Pickup Bands that are direct replacements for metal OEM.  Availalbe for round balers, large square balers, forage harvesters,a dn pull-type choppers in these popular brands: John Deere, Case IH, New Holland, New Idea, Challenger and Hesston.

The Poly Pickup Bands are ½” thick and have an additional ¼” thick reinforced support ring on the inside to strengthen and maintain its shape.

Our Poly Pickup Bands comes complete with hardware for easy installation.  These are interchangeable with OEM so you can run with a mix of Poly and original metal pickup bands.
