Q. How worn can my steel auger be to still be able to use auger wearshoes?
A. You can have up to ¾” of the steel auger wore off on each side of the flighting (1 ½” off of the total diameter) and you are still good to install auger wearshoes.
Q. Is a “Bubble Up” Auger the same as a “Tank Fill” Auger?
A. Yes, tank fill, bubble up, fountain auger, incline auger, all are common names for the same thing.
